I’ve been seeing a lot of images with ceilings painted colors other than the standard white or off white. It’s statement making.  If it’s done well and the rest of the room is curated with a great eye, it can look stunning.  I’m also seeing more ceilings timber clad or treated with tile.

A gorgeous kitchen: Galatea by Details, A Design Firm. They have created a tray ceiling with polished tongue and groove boards within the trays. Very smart.
